Buni-Yadi School Graduates 450 Students, Launches Garden

On Thursday, the Mega Junior Secondary School in Buni-Yadi celebrated its combined graduation and prize-giving day for the 2026 academic session, graduating 450 students, comprising 250 females and 200 males. The event, attended by government officials, parents, traditional rulers, security personnel, and teachers, marked a significant step towards normalcy in the region after years of insurgent activities.

Principal Alhaji Modu Wagani praised Governor Mai Mala Buni for his commitment to education and peace, noting that the government's investments are yielding positive results. The newly launched school garden aligns with Governor Buni's vision for desert reclamation and is part of the Universal Basic Education Commission's (UBEC) Greening School and Climate Education Initiative.

Gujba LGA Chairman Alhaji Dala Malah congratulated the graduates, emphasizing their achievement as a community victory and encouraging them to remain focused in their future educational pursuits. The celebration included prize presentations, drama performances, and cultural dances.
