Fridai Yohanna Wins 2026 Jiya Memorial Golf Tournament

Fridai Yohanna triumphed at the 2026 Mama Eunic Jiya Memorial Golf Tournament, becoming the overall champion with a score of 78 gross and 68 net, played off a handicap of 10. The tournament, held at Minna Canton Golf Club on Saturday, attracted 168 golfers and has grown significantly since its inception in 2004.

Yohanna expressed delight at winning this prestigious national golf event, dedicating his achievement to the support of the organizers and praising the high level of competition. Major General S.

S. Jiya, a past captain of TYB International Golf Resort Country Club, acknowledged the impressive turnout and the tournament's role in preserving the legacy of his late mother, Mama Eunic Jiya.
