Yoruba Group Celebrates Oyebanji's Ekiti Election Victory

The Yoruba group commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji following his victory in the Ekiti State governorship election held on a Saturday. The Independent National Electoral Commission declared Oyebanji, the candidate from the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner with a total of 319,224 votes, defeating his opponents.

This victory is noted as a historic achievement, with the group highlighting that Oyebanji's performance during his first term has built significant confidence among the people of Ekiti State. Princ Tajudeen Olusi, the leader of the group, expressed that Oyebanji's record-breaking win margin is unprecedented in the state's electoral history since 2003.
