Uba Sani Praised for Fulfilling Promises to Victims' Families

Governor Uba Sani has received commendations from both Islamic and Christian clerics for his commitment to fulfilling promises made since taking office. Most Rev(Dr) Timothy Yahaya, the Archbishop of Kaduna Province, and Sheikh Haliru Maraya, Northern Coordinator of Global Peace Foundation, praised Sani for purchasing houses for Mrs Sarah Achi and Malam Usman Aliyu, who recently lost their spouses.

Ven Edwin Achi, husband of Mrs Achi, was abducted and killed, while Malama Ummulkhairi Aliyu was murdered by a mob in Maraban Jos. Governor Sani visited the families, promising to buy houses and support the education of Ummulkhairi's four children.

The title documents for the houses were handed over at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House. Sheikh Maraya noted that the Governor also made a monetary donation of N10 million to Ummulkhairi's family and pledged to find a suitable school for the children.

Both clerics expressed gratitude for the Governor's actions, emphasizing the importance of keeping promises.
