Osun APC Accuses Governor Adeleke of Misleading Delegation

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) accused Governor Ademola Adeleke of misleading a British election monitoring delegation during their visit to the state. In a statement issued by the party's Director of Media, Kola Olabisi, the APC claimed that Adeleke presented inaccurate information regarding political violence in the state ahead of the August 15 governorship election.

The APC reacted to Adeleke's report, which appealed to the British delegation, led by senior political advisor Wale Adebajo, to consider economic sanctions and visa restrictions against APC leaders allegedly involved in political violence. The APC insisted that none of its leaders had been found guilty in court regarding these allegations.

The party also referenced past incidents, including the killing of four APC members in Ilesa, and accused Adeleke of failing to disclose the presence of political thugs within the government. The APC demanded accountability for the alleged actions of Adeleke and his administration.
