Gov Alia Swears in New Commissioners in Benue State

On Friday, Benue State Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia conducted a swearing-in ceremony for seven newly appointed commissioners in Makurdi, comprising six males and one female. Alia emphasized that their performance would be evaluated based on the results they deliver to the people rather than their positions.

He urged the commissioners to focus on service delivery, accountability, and the welfare of Benue residents. Alia congratulated them on their appointments, describing their roles as a commitment to serve the entire population of Benue, rather than personal or political interests.

He highlighted the importance of collaboration among ministries, stating that interconnected challenges require connected responses. The governor encouraged the use of innovation and modern management practices to enhance public service delivery and reminded the commissioners that their success would be measured by tangible improvements in the lives of the people.

Those sworn in include Kuma Yenge, Roy Terna, Monday Angwa, Elizabeth Ogenyi, Solomon Iorpev, Nick Eworo, and Ankwa Amo.
