ZASCOSA Seeks Government Support for School Revival

The Zang Secondary Commercial School Old Students Association (ZASCOSA), led by President Mr Dūng Nehemiah Rwang, has sought the support of the Plateau State Government for the rehabilitation and repositioning of Zang Secondary Commercial School. This appeal was made during a courtesy visit to the Plateau State Ministry of Education, where they met with ministry officials to discuss the urgent need for intervention to restore the school.

Rwang emphasized the importance of protecting the institution's legacy for future generations and called for collaboration among alumni, government, and stakeholders to prevent further deterioration. Mrs Keithline Rahab Nyango, representing the Commissioner for Education, assured the delegation of the ministry's willingness to support initiatives aimed at improving the school's condition.

She encouraged ZASCOSA to continue its efforts and acknowledged the vital role alumni associations play in advocating for educational institutions. The meeting aimed to formally address the school's challenges and seek government collaboration for its development.
