Zulum Advocates for Northern Presidency Post-Tinubu

On Sunday, Babagana Zulum, the Governor of Borno State, addressed Northern Nigeria women Ulama and Islamic scholars in Kaduna, asserting that after President Bola Tinubu's current term, the presidency should revert to the North. Zulum indicated that Northern leaders have agreed to back Tinubu's second term with the understanding of power rotation.

He emphasized the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence between Northern and Southern Nigeria, citing previous commitments made by Northern leaders to support Southern counterparts. Zulum discussed pressing issues such as security, out-of-school children, and poverty, noting that significant decisions were made to tackle these challenges.

He called on women to play a vital role in fostering peace and understanding in their communities, encouraging them to share the meeting's messages. Zulum expressed hope for justice and urged collective efforts to improve the region's conditions, while also commending the meeting's organizers for their role in promoting peace.
