Public Figures Who Died After Cosmetic Procedures

Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, a British-Nigerian businessman and lifestyle influencer, died on March 6, 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand, after undergoing a penile enhancement procedure. He received injections of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine on March 5, 2026, while on holiday with his wife.

Ubiribo experienced severe chest pain and lost consciousness, and despite medical efforts to revive him for over 100 minutes, he died. A UK coroner’s inquest determined his death was due to a pulmonary embolism caused by the cosmetic filler, with material consistent with the injected substance found in his lungs.
