16 Schools Set for 10th Tolaram Science Challenge in Lagos

The 10th edition of the Tolaram Science Challenge is set to commence on June 19, 2026, featuring 16 participating secondary schools from Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State. This annual science competition, organized by the Tolaram Science Challenge as part of the Lagos Free Zone's corporate social responsibility initiatives, aims to enhance STEM education among students.

Each school will be represented by six students, showcasing innovative ideas and practical solutions to real-world challenges in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The competition will cover five core subject areas: physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and general knowledge.

The event will culminate in a grand final scheduled for June 26, 2026. Adesuwa Ladoja, Chief Executive Officer of Lagos Free Zone, emphasized the initiative's commitment to advancing quality education and nurturing future leaders.

Vishal Shah, Chief Sustainability Officer of Lagos Free Zone, noted that the challenge aligns with the broader sustainability agenda of the zone, prioritizing investments in education and youth empowerment.
