1.7 Million Benefit from Yari's Palliative Program in Zamfara

In the past three years, the expanded palliative and humanitarian intervention program initiated by former Governor of Zamfara State and current Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, has benefited not less than 1.7 million individuals across Zamfara State. A statement from Yari Media Office revealed that in the latest phase, Senator Yari approved the distribution of 145 truckloads of maize and 42,000 bags of 10kg Semovita to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and vulnerable households in the state's 14 local government areas.

Liman, Chairman of the Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar Palliative Distribution Committee, disclosed that each local government area will receive 10 truckloads of maize and 3,000 bags of Semovita, with additional truckloads allocated to ensure effective distribution. Approximately 210,000 residents across Zamfara’s 147 political wards are expected to benefit from this phase.

Liman emphasized the program's role in alleviating economic hardship for vulnerable families and called for prayers for President Bola Tinubu and Senator Yari to address economic and security challenges in northern Nigeria.
