Katsina Police Rescue 18-Year-Old Girl from Kidnappers

On Tuesday, at 11:53 PM, an 18-year-old girl named Aisha Kabir was abducted by armed bandits in Kukoki Quarter, Danmusa Local Government Area, Katsina State. The Katsina State Police Command, under the leadership of CP Ali Umar Fage, received a distress call and promptly mobilized an armored personnel carrier and tactical patrol team.

They engaged the bandits in a gun duel, successfully overpowering them and forcing them to abandon the victim. The suspects fled the scene, sustaining varying degrees of gunshot injuries.

Aisha was rescued and immediately taken to a hospital for medical evaluation before being reunited with her family. Following the incident, the police initiated a bush combing operation to track down and arrest the fleeing suspects.

CP Ali Umar Fage commended the officers involved for their swift and professional response in rescuing the victim.
