Oyebamiji Questions Adeleke on Osun State Finances

Bola Oyebamiji, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, challenged Governor Ademola Adeleke to account for the N15 billion left by the previous administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola. During an interactive session at the Arise TV Town Hall Meeting in Osun on Tuesday, Oyebamiji stated that Governor Adeleke's administration had received over N650 billion in allocations over three and a half years, yet there was little to show for it.

He compared this to the approximately N450 billion received during 12 years of governance under former Governors Rauf Aregbesola and Gboyega Oyetola. Oyebamiji expressed concern that 97 percent of the resources were concentrated in just two local governments, describing this situation as an aberration and criminal.

He emphasized the need for transparency regarding state finances and inherited liabilities.
