500 Islamic Scholars Endorse Tinubu for 2027 Election

President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Political and Other Matters, Ibrahim Masari, announced that around 500 Islamic scholars and religious leaders endorsed Tinubu for re-election in the 2027 presidential election. This endorsement occurred during the Northern Muslim Intellectual Forum held in Dutse, Jigawa State, where participants, including governors and other dignitaries, discussed pressing issues such as security, socio-economic challenges, and infrastructure development in Northern Nigeria.

The forum, attended by notable figures like Governors Umar Namadi, Abba Yusuf, Mai Buni, Ahmad Aliyu, Uba Sani, Deputy President of the Senate Barau Jibrin, and Minister Muttaka Darma, resulted in a unanimous resolution supporting Tinubu's re-election. The scholars expressed satisfaction with Tinubu's approach to addressing insecurity and acknowledged progress made under his administration.

They urged Nigerians, especially Northerners, to support Tinubu and the APC in the upcoming elections.
