PDP Chairman Dogo Predicts APC Loss in 2027 Election

Belmont Dogo, the Adamawa State chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has no chance of winning the governorship election in Adamawa State in 2027. Speaking to journalists on Wednesday, Dogo challenged the APC's governorship candidate to demonstrate their contributions to the state's development.

He criticized the APC's past performance in governance, asserting that the people of Adamawa cannot accept what he termed "political visitors." Dogo's comments came during a ceremony where Governor Ahmadu Fintiri swore in 21 local government chairmen and 226 councillors. Fintiri urged the new officials to align with his administration's "Fresh Air Agenda" aimed at grassroots development.

He reminded them of the weight of the oath of office they took and the responsibility to deliver on their promises to the electorate, emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability in their roles.
