ADP Candidate Aliyu Bin Abba Names Chinazam Ik as Running Mate

Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abba, the presidential candidate for the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in the 2027 general elections, has officially named Hon. Chinazam Ik as his running mate. The announcement was made in a statement issued on Tuesday by Abba's Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Jacob Dickson.

The choice of Ik is said to reflect the party's commitment to presenting a united and inclusive leadership that is driven by youth. The statement emphasizes that Abba's strategic decision aims to build a competitive and inclusive leadership that truly represents the aspirations of Nigerians.

Hon. Chinazam Ik hails from Ehim Mbano Local Government Area in Imo State and is recognized as a politician, entrepreneur, and youth advocate with two decades of political experience. He has served in various leadership positions, including as the former chairman and vice chairman of the National Youth Leader Forum of political parties in Nigeria.

The ADP seeks to broaden its national appeal and project youth leadership as part of its agenda for the upcoming elections.
