APC Launches Voter Mobilization Strategy for 2027 Elections

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has initiated a grassroots mobilization strategy called "Operation Man Your Polling Booth" in preparation for the 2027 general elections. The party, led by Chairman Cornelius Ojelabi, aims to secure five million votes out of an anticipated seven million in Lagos.

This strategy was unveiled during the inauguration of the Tinubu-Hamzat 2027 Campaign Council at the party secretariat in Ikeja. Ojelabi emphasized the importance of local involvement in mobilizing voters across the state's 13,565 polling booths.

The APC's renewed focus on polling units follows the 2023 presidential election results, where opposition candidates Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi posed significant challenges, with Obi narrowly defeating APC's Bola Tinubu in Lagos. The party's approach will be decentralized, assigning responsibilities to leaders and members across various localities to enhance voter mobilization efforts.
