Atiku Abubakar Promises Active Leadership for 2027

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Campaign Council has assured Nigerians that its presidential candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, will not be an "absentee President" if elected on May 29, 2027. Kola Ologbondiyan, the Director of Media and Publicity for the ADC PCC, stated that Atiku would be physically present and responsive to the nation's challenges.

He highlighted Atiku's understanding of Nigeria's economic and social issues, referencing his 2023 campaign proposals, including a phased approach to fuel subsidy withdrawal. Ologbondiyan stressed the need for accessible leadership, stating that Nigeria cannot afford uncertainty in governance.

He outlined Atiku's commitment to addressing economic difficulties, improving citizen welfare, and restoring public confidence. Hon. Francis Eburuwe, leader of the Atiku Unity Movement, expressed the group's dedication to mobilizing support for Atiku's candidacy and emphasized the need for a change in Nigeria's political direction.
