Primate Ayodele Warns of Fake Polling Units for 2027 Elections

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued a warning regarding the upcoming 2027 elections in Nigeria, stating that fake polling units and booths may be established to rig election results. In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele emphasized that these fraudulent polling units could mislead unsuspecting voters.

He urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to take this threat seriously, as it could significantly impact the election's integrity. Ayodele expressed concerns about INEC's preparedness for the election, indicating that the commission has not shown adequate readiness.

He called on the INEC chairman to ensure a credible election process, warning that failure to do so could have personal repercussions for him. Ayodele described the upcoming presidential election as particularly challenging, unlike previous elections, and stressed the importance of informing the electorate to prevent manipulation.
