Lagos Board Begins Sale of 2027 Hajj Application Forms

The Lagos State Muslim Pilgrim Welfare Board (LSMPWB), led by Mr. Abdulhakeem Ajomagberin, has commenced the sale of application forms for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage.

The cost for the Hajj application form is N20,000, while the Umrah form costs N10,000, both payable to the board's account. Pilgrims intending to participate must make an initial deposit of N7 million via bank draft drawn from a commercial bank in favor of LSMPWB.

Ajomagberin emphasized the importance of early registration and payment to align with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) directives. The deadline for the initial deposit payment is set for September 2026.

Additionally, intending Umrah pilgrims are required to pay an initial deposit of N5 million. The board advises pilgrims to collect official receipts for all payments made.

Early registration is aimed at ensuring compliance and facilitating the coordination of visa processes, accommodation, and airlift arrangements for a seamless pilgrimage experience.
