Bwacha to Quit Taraba Guber Race if Kefas Reveals N10bn Project

Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, the governorship candidate for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba State, announced that he would withdraw from the gubernatorial race if Governor Agbu Kefas discloses any project worth N10 billion executed since 2023. Bwacha expressed concern over Taraba's increasing debt profile, which has surpassed N1 trillion, despite significant allocations to the state.

He made these statements on Saturday in Jalingo while introducing his running mate, Engr. Aminu Zakari.

Bwacha articulated his vision for Taraba, focusing on agriculture, education, healthcare, infrastructure, and government integrity. He emphasized that government effectiveness should be measured by its impact on citizens' lives rather than budget size.

Bwacha justified his choice of Zakari as running mate based on competence and integrity. He also commended President Bola Tinubu's security initiatives and pledged support for the President's re-election in 2027.
