NDC Ratifies Primary Election Results for 2027 Elections

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially ratified the results of its nationwide primary elections in preparation for the 2027 general elections. This decision was reached during the party's second National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, which included participation from key figures such as presidential candidate Mr.

Peter Obi and his running mate Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

The NEC, led by Seriake Dickson, reviewed the party's progress and assessed the conduct of the recently concluded primaries. They outlined strategies to strengthen the party ahead of the upcoming polls, acknowledging challenges and disagreements recorded during the primaries.

The NEC remains committed to internal democracy, transparency, and inclusiveness, and resolved to intensify reconciliation efforts while engaging stakeholders. The committee commended the electoral committee and the appeal panel for their dedication to ensuring a successful electoral process and urged party members to remain actively involved in building the party.
