PDP Launches Campaigns for 2027 Elections in Ogun Central

On Wednesday, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun Central officially commenced its campaign for the presidential and National Assembly elections ahead of the 2027 general elections. The event took place at the Ake Palace Pavilion in Abeokuta, attracting a large turnout from the three federal constituencies.

Notable attendees included the party's governorship candidate, Hon Oladipupo Adebutu, and deputy governorship candidate, Alhaja Yemi Sowunmi-Kolapo, along with senatorial candidate, Professor Iyabo Obasanjo. Adebutu urged supporters to vote for a "tested and trusted candidate" in Senator Obasanjo, emphasizing her unmatched track record during her previous representation.

He called for a collective effort to reject non-performance and ensure a strong turnout for the PDP on January 16, 2027, encouraging residents to stand by their votes and resist intimidation. Senator Obasanjo expressed gratitude for the support she received and promised to deliver more benefits to the people, reinforcing the commitment of residents and supporters to vote for PDP.
