NDC Leader Dickson: No Arbitrary Ticket Allocation for 2027

Seriak Dickson, the national leader of the Nigerian Democratic Coalition (NDC) and former governor of Bayelsa, announced that the party will not allocate tickets arbitrarily ahead of the 2027 elections. Speaking at a meeting with members of the NDC screening committee, Dickson highlighted the increasing number of aspirants seeking various electoral offices under the NDC, reflecting growing confidence in the party across Nigeria.

He assured that the screening committee would approach its responsibilities with fairness and a proper understanding of the political realities in different states. Dickson reiterated that the NDC ticket would not be gifted arbitrarily and emphasized the committee's role in engaging aspirants constructively.

He thanked the aspirants for their confidence in the NDC and called for party members to strengthen the party's structure in preparation for the upcoming electoral season, asserting that the NDC is committed to building a transparent and people-oriented political culture.
