YPP Inaugurates Lagos Secretariat Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Young Progressives Party (YPP) inaugurated a new secretariat in Ikeja, Lagos State, on Opebi Road, as part of its strategy to strengthen its structures ahead of the 2027 general elections. The event attracted party leaders, stakeholders, grassroots mobilisers, and members from various parts of the state.

Olajide Filani, a member of the party’s Board of Trustees and a presidential aspirant, stated that the YPP aims to position itself as a credible alternative focused on purposeful leadership, economic growth, and inclusive governance. He described the new secretariat as a symbol of the party's operational readiness and commitment to enhancing democratic participation in Lagos.

Filani urged new members to uphold the party's ideals of discipline and unity, expressing confidence that the growing support base would improve the party's electoral prospects. Oludare Falade, representing the new members, expressed their commitment to the YPP's vision, highlighting the party's focus on youth inclusion and internal cohesion.
