Adamawa Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Father

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested 30-year-old Peter Sinamai for allegedly killing his father and disposing of the corpse in an abandoned well located in Sangere, Gombi Local Government Area. The arrest followed a report received by the police operatives.

Suleiman Nguroje, the command’s spokesman, stated that preliminary investigations indicated that Sinamai killed his father and disposed of the body in a well within their community. The state Commissioner of Police, Kabiru Hassan, has mandated a thorough investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The corpse has been recovered and is currently deposited at the mortuary for autopsy. Following the investigation's conclusion, the suspect will be charged in court.

The police spokesperson condemned the act and reassured the public of the command’s commitment to protecting lives and property, urging the community to seek lawful means for resolving family disputes.
