33 Vessels with Petroleum Products Arriving Lagos Ports

The Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) announced that 33 vessels laden with petroleum products and other goods are set to arrive at Lagos ports within the week of March 2 to March 8. The vessels are scheduled to dock at Apapa Port, Tin Island Port, and Lekki Deep Sea Port.

Among the incoming vessels, 16 are expected to contain assorted goods, while the remaining vessels will be loaded with bulk urea, crude oil, fertilizers, salt, gypsum, sugar, and general cargo. Currently, 11 tankers have already arrived at the three ports and are awaiting berthing.

These tankers are transporting aviation fuel, petrol, diesel, and alkaline substances. Additionally, 17 vessels are presently discharging cargo at Apapa, Tin Island, and Lekki ports, which involves operations related to bulk wheat and various containerized goods, reflecting sustained shipping and cargo handling activities across the Lagos port corridor.
