Adebayo Identifies Key Sectors for Job Creation in Nigeria

Wole Adebayo, the 2027 presidential candidate for the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has identified five key sectors—agriculture, construction, manufacturing, and energy—as having the potential to create mass employment for Nigerians. He articulated this position on social media, stating that job creation will be the primary measure for evaluating any economic policy or government program.

Adebayo asserted that these sectors can absorb a large workforce, strengthen communities, and enhance overall productivity in Nigeria. He proposed that all major public spending initiatives in infrastructure, housing, agriculture, and energy should be assessed based on their ability to generate jobs and widen opportunities for ordinary Nigerians.

Adebayo, who previously ran for president in the 2023 general elections, has been ratified as the SDP's candidate for 2027 and is developing his policy positions with a strong focus on employment generation as a central pillar of his campaign.
