800 Nigerian Deportees Arrive from Niger Republic

On a recent Sunday, no fewer than 800 Nigerian deportees returned from Niger Republic, arriving at the Jibia Magama border in Katsina State. The deportees, which included men, women, and children, were transported in eight buses.

Upon arrival at 9:30 AM, they began undergoing profiling by officials from the Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Customs Service, Police, and Intelligence Agency. This exercise aims to ensure proper documentation and security screening of the deportees.

Further actions regarding the deportees will take place in Kano State, as necessary, following the profiling process. The report highlights the coordinated efforts of various security agencies in managing the return of these individuals.
