Abia State Launches Reallocation of Ekeoha Shops

The Abia State Government, through the Ministry of Trade and Commerce, has announced the commencement of a reallocation exercise for newly-built shops at the Ekeoha Shop Complex in Aba. This initiative is carried out in partnership with Rhino Home Properties Limited.
The reallocation exercise is strictly limited to individuals who have fully paid for their shops. Eligible participants include existing shop owners affected by the redevelopment, whose original allocation certificates are listed in the market register.
The application process requires participants to obtain preliminary clearance from Rhino Home and submit documentation proving previous ownership and full payment. The reallocation exercise will run from May 7 to May 14, 2026.
Interested participants can apply online or physically at Gada Building No. 3 River Avenue, Aba, from 9 AM to 4 PM daily. Successful applicants will receive official market registration certificates following the exercise.
