Ogun Governor Lauds IGP for Deploying Security Aircraft

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, commended the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Tunji Disu, for the swift deployment of an operational police aircraft to bolster security efforts in the state.

This deployment follows Governor Abiodun's request aimed at strengthening the state's security architecture and combating criminality and banditry. The Secretary to the State Government, Mr.

Tokunbo Talabi, received the aircraft and its crew on behalf of the Ogun State Government, expressing gratitude to the Inspector General for his prompt action and commitment to public safety. Talabi highlighted that the aircraft would enhance aerial surveillance, intelligence gathering, and rapid response capabilities of security agencies, complementing ongoing efforts to eliminate criminal elements in Ogun State.

The operational aircraft is expected to support Operation Kosaye, a joint security initiative targeting kidnappers and bandits in identified hotspots. Governor Abiodun reaffirmed his administration's commitment to supporting security agencies to ensure the safety of lives and property in Ogun State.
