Abiodun Praises IG for Deploying Police Aircraft in Ogun

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun commended Inspector General of Police Tunji Disu for the swift deployment of an operational police aircraft to bolster security operations in Ogun State. This request, made by Abiodun, was approved promptly by Disu as part of efforts to strengthen the state’s security architecture against criminality and banditry.

The Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, received the aircraft and its crew, expressing gratitude to the Inspector General for his commitment to public safety. Talabi noted that the aircraft would enhance aerial surveillance, intelligence gathering, and rapid response capabilities of security agencies, complementing ongoing efforts to eliminate criminal elements.

The operational aircraft will support Operation Kosaye, a joint security initiative targeting kidnappers and bandits in identified hotspots. Abiodun reaffirmed his administration's dedication to supporting security agencies and investing in initiatives that ensure peace and sustainable economic development in Ogun State.
