Abuja Court Remands Siblings for Father's Murder

An Abuja court has remanded two siblings, Adimik Anthoni and Stephani Comfort Ajibad, over the alleged murder of their father, Adimik Godwin. The FCT Police Command arraigned the siblings at the FCT High Court on four charges, including conspiracy to commit culpable homicide.

The incident occurred on May 15, 2026, when police responded to a distress call and found Adimik Godwin unconscious in his room with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at Karu General Hospital.

Following a comprehensive investigation ordered by the Commissioner of Police, Ahm Sanusi, five suspects were arrested, including the siblings and their father's driver and gateman. The court has adjourned the matter until September 30, 2026, and the defendants have been remanded at Suleja Correctional Centre pending further proceedings.
