Ondo APC Elders Urge Acceptance of NWC Candidate List

Elders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, represented by chairman Demola Ijabiyi, have called on party members to accept the candidate list released by the National Working Committee (NWC). This appeal follows protests in Akure, where members expressed dissatisfaction with the candidate list, alleging that it did not reflect the outcomes of the recent House of Representatives primary elections held last month.

Ijabiyi stated that the NWC's decision should be respected, emphasizing that the APC remains a governing party committed to transparency and democratic processes. He cautioned against any form of candidate imposition and urged members to channel their energies towards strengthening the party rather than protesting.

The elders reaffirmed their commitment to mobilizing support for President Bola Tinubu's candidacy in the upcoming 2027 general elections and called for unity among party members to uphold democratic ideals.
