Adamawa Man Dies After Alleged Stick Attack; Suspect Arrested

Nathaniel Yusuf, a 30-year-old man from Jambutu Ward in Yola North Local Government Area, Adamawa State, died after an alleged attack with a stick by Abubakar Musa. The Adamawa State Police Command, led by spokesperson Suleiman Nguroj, reported that the arrest of Musa followed a distress call made by Yusuf's sister, Grace.

Police operatives responded swiftly to the scene, where they found Yusuf with severe injuries, including fractures to his leg, right hand, and head. He was rushed to a specialist hospital in Jimeta for urgent medical attention but was later confirmed dead by medical personnel.

The Commissioner of Police for Adamawa State, Kabiru Hassan, has directed the State Criminal Investigation Department in Yola to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure the diligent prosecution of the suspect according to the law. The deceased's body has been deposited at a medical facility for autopsy, and the command reassured the public of its commitment to justice while urging residents to support the police with credible information.
