Jega Accuses INEC of Undermining Opposition Parties

Mahmud Jega, a public affairs analyst, expressed concerns regarding the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during an interview on Arise Television's prime time on Friday. He warned that INEC is giving the impression of being involved in a scheme to destroy opposition parties, specifically targeting the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Jega highlighted the internal crises faced by the ADC, which is led by its national chairman and secretary. He emphasized the need for the ADC to pursue a faster court process to reach a political agreement and secure political options to avoid potential problems.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development has been criticized for not addressing the legal issues stemming from the internal conflict within the ADC and instead speaking via social media about the situation.
