Jega Warns INEC on ADC Crisis Ahead of 2027 Elections

In an interview on Arise Television's Prime Time on Friday, public affairs analyst Mahmud Jega expressed concerns regarding the ongoing crisis within the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He stated that the crisis appears to be engineered and cautioned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to exercise care in its dealings with the party.

Jega highlighted that the ADC is facing an internal crisis, which has led to the stripping of former Senate President David Mark from his position as the national chairman of the party. He emphasized that the situation could potentially destroy opposition parties, suggesting that there are interests that want to undermine the ADC.
