ADC Urges Tinubu to Address Insecurity Equally

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused President Bola Tinubu of prioritizing certain victims of insecurity over others, urging him to provide updates on the rescue of 176 residents abducted from Woro community in Kaiama, Kwara State, since February 3, 2026. In a statement by National Publicity Secretary Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party expressed concern over the president's recent celebration of rescues in Oyo State, questioning the fate of victims in Kaiama, Borno, and other regions.

The ADC cited the recent abduction of 40 residents in Zamfara and the kidnapping of Kebbi High Court Judge Justice Faruku Hassan Bunza as evidence of ongoing insecurity. The party criticized the administration's response, suggesting a pattern of selective attention to victims based on their location or the media coverage of their plight.

They called for equal compassion for all citizens, emphasizing that leadership should not create disparities in the value of Nigerian lives.
