ADC Urges Tinubu to Address Insecurity Victims Equally

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called on President Bola Tinubu to provide equal attention to all victims of insecurity in Nigeria. In a statement by National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC emphasized that victims abducted in places like Kaiama, Borno, and Zamfara deserve the same concern as those recently rescued in Oyo State.

The party specifically mentioned the 176 residents of Woro community in Kaiama, Kwara State, who were abducted on February 3, 2026, and remain in captivity. The ADC criticized the President's public celebration of rescues, questioning the fate of other victims still held captive.

They pointed to recent abductions, including 40 residents in Zamfara and the kidnapping of Kebbi High Court Judge Justice Faruku Hassan Bunza, as evidence of ongoing insecurity. The ADC urged the President to provide regular updates on rescue efforts and criticized his assurances regarding insecurity in northern Nigeria, stating that Nigerians expect concrete results rather than mere promises.
