Adebayo Aims for 4% Unemployment Rate in Two Years

Prince Adewol Adebayo, the presidential candidate for the Social Democratic Party (SDP), announced his ambitious plan to reduce Nigeria's unemployment rate to 4% within two years during an event in Bauchi. He introduced a comprehensive socio-economic recovery agenda that includes implementing 500 programs aimed at tackling unemployment, insecurity, and poor healthcare.

Adebayo emphasized that poverty reduction is a central priority for his administration, promising a 2% reduction in poverty levels within the same timeframe. His initiatives will focus on public works to engage millions of Nigerians, infrastructure development, and the revival of the manufacturing and agricultural sectors.

Adebayo also pledged to provide free compulsory education at both elementary and tertiary levels until graduates secure employment. In healthcare, he proposed universal access to affordable services, ensuring every Nigerian is entitled to four free medical examinations annually.

He criticized the current administration's economic management and stressed the need for stronger local governance to effectively address grassroots development.
