Stage Collapse at Osun Political Rally, No Injuries Reported

During a political rally held in Ijebu-Jesa, Osun State, a stage collapsed while Governor Ademola Adeleke, Deputy Kola Adewusi, Speaker Adewal Egbedun, and spokesperson Pelumi Olajengbesi were seated. The incident occurred as the event was concluding, and a video captured the moment of the collapse.

Despite the disruption, no injuries were reported, and the event continued after security personnel assisted in clearing the debris. The rally was part of the inauguration of the Imo Campaign Council for the Obokun and Oriade Federal Constituency.

Deputy spokesperson Oladel Bamiji confirmed that the incident was not serious, and the governor and his cabinet members were unharmed. The event resumed smoothly after the collapse, and the governor addressed the gathered crowd without further incident.
