Afenifere Praises Sanwo-Olu, Abiodun for Security Efforts

Afenifere, a pan-Yoruba organization, praised Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun for their decisive actions against the threats of kidnapping and banditry in their states. The organization commended Inspector General of Police Olatunji Disu and the Commissioners of Police in Ogun and Lagos, Bode Ojajuni and Tijani Olaiwola, respectively, for their coordinated efforts to tackle criminal activities along the Ogber-Sagamu corridor.

A letter from Afenifere's leadership, represented by Reuben Fasoranti, highlighted the significant restoration of public safety confidence due to these efforts. The organization emphasized the importance of professional police leadership and robust inter-state collaboration in combating violent crime.

Afenifere reiterated its commitment to ensuring that the South West region remains secure and free from criminal elements, stating that there is "no place for evil" in Yorubaland.
