Medxvers Telemedicine Virtual Care Ltd officially unveiled its integrated AI-powered telemedicine platform designed to tackle healthcare access issues in Africa, a region facing severe healthcare challenges. Founded by Nigerian entrepreneur Timilehin Seyi Adeleke, the company aims to bridge the gap in healthcare access, particularly for the 1.4 billion people who bear nearly a quarter of the global disease burden.

The platform allows patients to consult licensed doctors via video or voice chat, receive digital prescriptions, and access laboratory services without visiting physical hospitals. It maintains secure digital medical records to ensure continuity of care.

The platform's AI component, Lexi AI, provides 24/7 support, real-time symptom assessment, and care recommendations. Medxvers aims to eliminate travel needs, reduce costs, and accelerate diagnosis, ultimately improving health outcomes.

The company plans to expand its services across Nigeria and into multiple African countries, targeting 100,000 users by 2030 and advancing AI diagnostic services globally by 2035.
