Jeff Ekhator Eyes Switch to Nigeria National Team

Ahanor Ekhator has hinted that Genoa striker Jeff Ekhator is leaning towards representing Nigeria at the international level. Jeff Ekhator, who was born in Italy to Nigerian parents, has previously played for Italy's youth teams, making 11 appearances for the U19 squad and scoring twice, as well as netting twice in six appearances for the U21 team.

Ekhator is expected to visit Nigeria this summer, where he may discuss his potential switch to the Nigerian national team. He mentioned that he is happy to work together with the Nigerian football authorities.

To officially represent Nigeria, Ekhator will need to obtain FIFA clearance, as he has previously played for Italy's youth teams.
