AIG Akpanudom Advocates for Enhanced Security Cooperation

AIG Simeon U. Akpanudom, the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department at FCID Annex Lagos, called for stronger collaboration among security agencies to effectively address emerging security challenges in Nigeria.

His remarks were made during a workshop held at the Nigerian Army Women Command Auditorium in Apapa, Lagos, which focused on enhancing operational efficiency to curb contemporary security threats. The workshop brought together military officers and security experts from various agencies to discuss strategies for improving operational effectiveness against evolving threats.

Akpanudom stressed that modern security challenges require collective action and sustained collaboration among security institutions, noting that no single agency can effectively confront today's complex threats alone. The workshop aligned with the vision of Inspector General of Police Olatunji Rilwan Disu to protect lives and property and promote peace and security nationwide.

The event concluded with a commitment to deepen inter-agency collaboration.
