Governor Aliyu Constructs Classrooms for Gidan Salanke School

Governor Ahmadu Aliyu of Sokoto State has redeemed his pledge to construct a block of two classrooms for Sheikh Habibu Darul Qur Wal Hadith Islamiyya School located in Gidan Salanke, Wamakko Local Government Area. During a stopover to inspect the project, the governor commended the contractor for executing quality work.

The contract was awarded following a request from the school management during the last graduation ceremony, aimed at accommodating an increasing number of pupils. The governor emphasized the importance of providing a conducive teaching and learning environment and directed the chair desk to ensure immediate furnishing of the classrooms.

He also urged the school management and parents to maintain the facilities properly. Kasimu Bello, the head teacher of the school, expressed gratitude to the governor for fulfilling the promise and prayed for divine guidance in his undertakings.

The governor was accompanied by various officials, including the state APC chairman and members of the state executive council.
