Kwankwaso Urges FG to Protect Peter Obi Amid Threats

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, a prominent political figure, has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to guarantee the safety of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC). In a Facebook post on Thursday, Kwankwaso expressed concern regarding Obi's recent public comments and the implications for his safety, which he believes could affect the role of opposition figures in Nigeria.

He criticized the Federal Government's response to Obi's comments, describing it as inappropriate and lacking restraint. Kwankwaso also expressed sympathy for the family of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, who is currently facing legal challenges, and emphasized the importance of due process and fair treatment under the law.

He warned against using state institutions for political purposes and stressed that every citizen deserves equal protection and justice, which are essential for the survival of Nigeria's democracy.
