Delta North APC Primary Election Allegations of Fraud

Amaechi Okoba, a legal adviser and campaign organizer for Ned Nwoko, stated that the Delta North APC primary election was compromised, citing significant irregularities in the electoral process. He claimed that the results announced did not align with the actual votes recorded, highlighting that the numbers presented failed to meet basic compliance standards.

Okoba pointed out that the electoral commission, led by Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, did not operate neutrally and instead favored certain party executives.

He provided video evidence showing discrepancies in the results from 98 wards, which contradicted the official announcements. Okoba emphasized that the process was manipulated to favor certain candidates, specifically mentioning that the results were inflated and did not match registered party membership.

He called on the national leadership of the APC to ensure a thorough investigation into the Delta North senatorial primary election, asserting that the integrity of the electoral process must be upheld.
