APC Addresses Internal Conflicts in Anambra State

The National leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) convened a meeting in Anambra State, led by Dr. Ben Nwoye, the Deputy National Chairman (South), to address ongoing conflicts within the party.

The APC has faced significant disarray following its primary elections in March, resulting in multiple court suits and protests from aggrieved members. Dr.

Nwoye emphasized the need for unity and respect for the party's leadership structure, identifying Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu as the leader and Senator Uche Ekwunife as the deputy leader. He warned that any members acting as troublemakers would be treated accordingly, stating, “I read a riot act to you and you must abide by it.” The committee is considering two options: dissolving the executive of the conflicting factions or aligning with the recognized leadership of Senator Emma Anosike.

The meeting aimed to foster reconciliation among party members.
