Anambra Government Promotes Synergy on Signage and Sanitation

On Wednesday, Dr. Law Mefor, the Commissioner for Information and Value Reformation in Anambra, called on local government mayors to collaborate with the state to advance Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s value reformation agenda. During his visit to Prince Chinedu Okafor, the Mayor of Awka South Local Government Area, Mefor stated that the success of the Soludo administration's infrastructure initiatives relies on a transformation in the character and behavior of Ndi Anambra.

He referenced the Anambra Homeland Security Law 2025, which aims to restore values such as hard work and respect. Mefor announced that the Information Ministry is developing a manual for implementation once the Anambra Value Reformation Law is approved.

He stressed the need for better coordination between local governments and agencies like ANSAA and AIRS to avoid conflicts and double taxation. Prince Okafor expressed support for the value reformation agenda and highlighted Awka South LGA's alignment with government directives regarding cashless transactions.
